We had the honour to meet with Brisbane’s very own shadow cast Cards 4 Sorrow in one of the city’s run down but utmost atmospheric cinemas, the New Globe Theatre. Despite the fact that a cover band practiced old „The Cure“-songs right next door during the entire shooting, we had a very charming and highly interesting Q&A with the cast and their fans. Luckily, the cover band stopped practicing about five minutes before the end of the interviews, so we got a least a couple of sentences without „In-between Days“ playing in the background. But seriously, it was a funny and entertaining session, and we’re grateful that the whole cast showed up in costume and make-up, and that they shared their stories so vividly.
